Established in 2017, The Architecture Collaborative (TAC) is a recently formed designed firm that brings together decades of experience with its staff and personnel. Previous project experience of staff includes multiple projects for UT Facilities Planning and TN Board of Regents, UT Facilities Services, Oak Ridge National Labs, UT-Battelle, Johnson University, and King College.
TAC is committed to providing the best service, customer experience, and value-based design for all its clients. “COLLABORATIVE” is in the company name for a reason. We believe in teamwork and communication in all we do.
The Golden Rule
Our company lives by the Golden rule, “Treat others as you wish to be treated.”
TAC’s expertise in multi-family housing ranges from urban townhomes to entire apartment communities. There is such a demand for housing in most all areas of the country we strive to stay on the forefront of design trends to ensure the best finished product.
Whether it is a garden style complex or city center mid rise we are able to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
Our commercial portfolio includes retail and restaurant design, business office space, religious facilities, and even industrial buildings. We are well versed in a wide range of project types and we feel that allows us to pull from various industries when developing a design.
Clients appreciate seeing another view point and some out of the box thinking.
Public Housing was originally established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. This has evolved into what is more accurately called “Affordable Housing” and can include many types of facilities.
While still meeting the needs of it’s original charter, TAC’s experience in affordable housing also includes worker and employee housing, non-subsidized housing, as well as urban infill rental units.
With the boom of the “Stay-cation”, cabin design is a fun and exciting aspect of our business . Especially in the East Tn region with areas like Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Wears Valley seeing record numbers of visitors each year.
Our designs range from small one bedroom cabins to multi-unit communities.
